How do I get one?
There will be a limited number of tuners available for sale at the Piping Centre and McCallums during the Piping Live Festival (11th - 17th August) in Glasgow.
Online sales from this website are only available for purchase to those registered to the Newsletter. The next batch is due to be available for purchase around 16th August.
How much does it cost?
A single tuning system (one tuner with sensors) retails for $350 USD. A small price to pay for a perfectly tuned bagpipe!
What's the tuner's accuracy and tuning range?
The tuner can be calibrated to a Low A frequency between 430 to 499 Hertz, in 1.0 Hz increments. It has an accuracy of 0.25 Hz for tennor drones and 0.125 Hz for bass drones.
Who is behind the Saul Bagpipe Tuner?
This tuner has been developed by Mark Saul. Prototype units have been field tested by top bands and solo players to ensure a product of the highest quality.
